By using AI Model Directory (aimodel.directory), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
What the site is
A reference of AI models: specifications, API prices by provider, open-weight details, change history and estimates of what runs on given hardware. Figures are collected automatically from the sources listed on our sources page, matched and checked as described in the methodology, and corrected by editors under the editorial policy. Those pages are part of these terms.
No warranty
Everything on the site is provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind, including accuracy, completeness or timeliness. In particular:
- Prices and availability change. Each price shows when we last checked it. Confirm the current price and terms with the provider before you buy, budget or build on them.
- Hardware results are estimates, computed from published specifications, not measurements. Real speed and memory use depend on software, drivers and settings.
- Licences shown are a summary. Read a model's own licence before using it, especially commercially.
Nothing on the site is professional, legal, financial or purchasing advice.
Reusing our data
Our compilation of the data and our original text are published under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 licence (CC BY 4.0): you may copy, adapt and share them, including commercially, if you credit aimodel.directory with a link to the page you used. Individual facts come from the upstream sources on our sources page, which keep their own terms; this licence covers only what we add, not rights we do not hold.
Machine access
Automated access is welcome. Use the endpoints we publish for it: each model page's .json and .md versions, the llms.txt guide, the changelog feed and the sitemap. Keep request rates reasonable, identify your crawler with a user agent, and follow the attribution terms above. Do not attempt to disrupt the site or access anything that is not published.
Trademarks
Model, product and company names are trademarks of their owners. Listing a model, lab or provider does not imply any affiliation with or endorsement by them, or theirs of us.
Links
The site links to labs, providers, sources and our sister sites. We are not responsible for their content, availability or practices.
Corrections
If a figure is wrong, tell us at corrections@aimodel.directory; see corrections.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Rob Heat, as the person responsible for AI Model Directory, is not liable for any loss or damage arising from use of the site or reliance on its content, including decisions about purchases, providers or hardware.
Changes and governing law
If these terms change materially, the date below changes with them; continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms. These terms are governed by the laws applicable to the operator of AI Model Directory, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
