Editorial policy
Facts first
- Every number links to a source and shows when it was last verified.
- Numbers come from data, never from a language model. Generated summaries are assembled from sourced fields.
- When sources conflict, a fixed source ranking decides, and unresolved conflicts go to an editor rather than being guessed.
Use of AI
We use automation to collect data and draft descriptive copy. Any analysis or recommendation (“best for”, strengths and weaknesses, comparison verdicts) is reviewed and approved by an editor before publication on our most-visited pages, and is clearly separated from the sourced specification data.
Thin pages
A page is only offered to search engines when it carries enough verified information to be useful. Pages that do not yet meet that bar remain reachable but are marked noindex until they do.
Corrections
Errors are corrected promptly and logged. See corrections.
